On October 25 the opening of the three largest exhibitions in the area of power industry and lighting technologies – the 15th Kazakhstan International Energy, Electrical Equipment and Machine Building Exhibition - Power Kazakhstan, the 6th Kazakhstan International Exhibition of Lighting, Light Engineering & LED Technologies - Lighting Kazakhstan, the 6th Kazakhstan International RES, Energy Saving, Energy Efficiency & Resource Saving Exhibition - ReEnergy Kazakhstan were held.
This year more than 100 industry-specific companies from 13 countries of the world as Austria, Belarus, Germany, Iran, Italy, Kazakhstan, China, Korea, Russia, Turkey, Ukraine, Finland, the Czech Republic took place in the exhibitions. Traditionally most of the participants are the companies from Kazakhstan and Russia. The national stands are presented by the exhibitors from China and the Czech Republic.
The Grand Opening Ceremony of the Exhibition took place at 11:00 in the territory of the pavilion 9A at “Atakent” KBCC on October 25. The ceremony was attended by the representatives of the Local Administration of Almaty, “KEGOC” JSC, “Samruk-Energo” JSC, “Alatau Zharyk Company” JSC, Kazakhstan Electricity Association and the diplomatic missions of the participating countries. “At the exhibition there are over 100 representatives of the companies from around the world. Kazakhstan is now on the way to transition to the new “green” economy. The country is organizing the EXPO with its main motto “Energy of the Future”. Kazakhstan has created good conditions for investments in the “green” economy. We believe that there are key indicators of the development in this direction. For this very reason, the exhibition Power Kazakhstan and ReEnergy Kazakhstan are never more relevant today”, - noted in his speech Baurzhan Baimukhanov, Member of the Board of Directors of Kazakhstan Association of Renewable Energy Sources.
The notably large national group was presented by the Czech Republic. Ladislav Shteinhyubl, Deputy Ambassador of the Czech Republic, highlighted the high level of preparation for the exhibition and the need to develop further cooperation between Kazakhstan and the Czech Republic: “The interaction between Kazakhstan and the Czech Republic is good. For a few years the Czech companies have arrived at the exhibition. The industry is developing, thus allowing us to implement various projects together”.
Among other exhibiting countries Kazakhstan has the largest number of participating companies at the exhibition, as Alageum Electric, Astels, KazRosEnergy, Kegoc, Svetasia, Teksan Kazakhstan Invest, Aggreko Eurasia, Aziaremenergo, Astana Electrotechnical Plant, Eurolight, Elcos, Interoil Kazakhstan, Kazakhtelecom, ENP Corporation, KEMONT, Niled-Kazakhstan, PromSpecAkkumulatory, RosAtom Central Asia, Samruk-Energy, Ust-Kamenogorsk Capacitor Plant, Phoenix Contact Kazakhstan, Egida Group, Ekra Kazakhstan, Ensto Kazakhstan and etc.
Today, within the framework of the exhibitions the seminar of “Rosatom Central Asia” and “Atomenergomash” JSC on “Modern Russian Technologies for Thermal Power Engineering in Kazakhstan” was held. The representatives of the industry discussed topical issues regarding electric power supply of the market, a comprehensive set of measures that will improve Kazakhstan’s energy turnover, as well as the potential for cooperation between the two countries.
On October 25 the visitors and guests were offered the extensive business program: a series of seminars of “Kazakhstan Association of Energy Auditors” ALE was held. On October 26 the seminars of the companies as “Kaskad” RPA” JSC, “Group of Companies “Interoil Kazakhstan” LLP and other industry representatives were planned. On the last day the visitors and exhibitors will be able to take part in the seminar of UNDP/GEF and the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan on “Promotion of Energy Efficient Lighting in Kazakhstan”.
