FROM 21 TO 23 OCTOBER 2026, THE 24TH KAZAKHSTAN INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION “ENERGY, ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT AND MACHINE BUILDING” POWEREXPO ALMATY 2026 AND THE 9TH KAZAKHSTAN INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION “NUCLEAR ENERGY AND INDUSTRY” KAZATOMEXPO 2026 WERE HELD IN ALMATY AT THE ATAKENT KAZAKHSTAN CENTRE FOR BUSINESS COOPERATION.

Over the three days, the joint exhibition was visited by 4,979 (including visitors to Securex Kazakhstan and Plastex Qazaqstan) specialists representing energy, industrial, engineering, design and other relevant organisations.

In 2026, the exhibition brought together 288 companies from 11 countries, including Austria, Belarus, Germany, India, Kazakhstan, China, Poland, Russia, Türkiye, France and the Czech Republic. Of the total number of exhibitors, 63 represented Kazakhstan, while 225 came from foreign countries. Among them, 22 domestic companies participated as manufacturers of products and equipment. China, Kazakhstan and Russia were the most widely represented countries. Additional international participation was supported by collective stands from the Republic of Mordovia, Chelyabinsk Region and the St. Petersburg Export Support Centre.

The joint format of Powerexpo Almaty and Kazatomexpo 2026 made it possible to present a wide range of solutions for the energy, electrical engineering and nuclear industries. The exhibition showcased products and equipment designed to provide enterprises with technical solutions, modernise production infrastructure and introduce advanced engineering technologies. The international representation reflected foreign manufacturers’ interest in developing cooperation with Kazakhstani enterprises, while the participation of domestic companies demonstrated the potential of the national industrial sector.

Exhibiting companies highlighted the practical value of participating in the exhibitions, which provided an opportunity to present their own developments, strengthen existing business relationships and expand their pool of potential customers: “We have been participating in this exhibition organised by Iteca for almost 10 years, and every year we come with great hopes and high expectations. In recent years, it has been particularly encouraging to see how much the exhibition has grown. There are many visitors, the exhibition continues to expand, and the pavilions are filling up. We can see that our energy sector is represented by major companies, which is very encouraging”, noted Natalia Makridina, Business Development Director, Silumin - East.

Alongside the international exhibition, a large-scale business programme became a key component of the joint exhibition project, bringing together representatives of government authorities, leading energy and industrial companies, industry associations, financial institutions, research organisations and the expert community.
