POWEREXPO ALMATY 2024 – THE LARGEST INTERNATIONAL SITE FOR COOPERATION AND DEVELOPMENT OF THE ENERGY INDUSTRY
FROM OCTOBER 30 TO NOVEMBER 1, 2024, THE 22ND KAZAKHSTAN INTERNATIONAL ENERGY, ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT AND MACHINE BUILDING EXHIBITION - POWEREXPO ALMATY 2024 WILL BE HELD AT THE ATAKENT KCBC.
178 companies from 12 countries, including Austria, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Germany, Italy, Kazakhstan, China, Russia, Thailand, Turkey, Uzbekistan and the Czech Republic will take part in the expo event.
Since 2001, the Powerexpo Almaty project has been presenting to specialists a full range of the most modern equipment, technologies and services for the energy industry, becoming a traditional site for business meetings, exchange of experience, establishment of new contacts and negotiations.
The exhibition annually brings together manufacturers, suppliers and consumers of electrical equipment, opening up opportunities for broad business communication and obtaining high commercial results for all its participants.
Participants will present advanced achievements and the latest models of electrical equipment, innovative developments, including power supply, high-voltage and low-voltage equipment, lighting engineering, cable and wire products, electrical installation products and tools, instrument gages, control and measurement devices, automation of buildings and structures, industrial automation and dispatching.
The Powerexpo Almaty 2024 exhibition promises to be an important event in the energy industry, uniting companies from all over the world. This year, 67 leading Kazakhstani companies, as well as 110 international organizations, will be among the participants, indicating a high level of international interest in the event.
The exhibition will feature collective stands - the Republic of Mordovia, Omsk region, the Mosprom Collective Stand, the Uzeltexsanoat Association - Electrical Industry of Uzbekistan, which will create additional opportunities for deepening international interaction and business cooperation.
This year, the exhibition has increased the number of participants and expanded its exhibition space, occupying two pavilions and an outdoor area. 106 debutant companies, including the Uzeltexsanoat Association, IEC Energy, CNC Electric, Kazelectrosnab, Petroleum Technology, Weicon, Averture, Toshelectroapparat, Maico Italia S.R.L., Brentwood Asia, Kazakhstan Valve and Insulator Plant, Voronezh Transformer, Smtmax, Rohde & Schwarz, Hardy and others, will present solutions that can change the future of the energy industry. The three leading participating countries are: Kazakhstan – 50 companies; China – 48 companies; Russia – 46 companies.
The business programme includes sessions aimed at discussing current issues of the state and development prospects of the domestic energy industry. An important event will be the Strategic Session on the topic “The Future of Hydrogen Energy in Kazakhstan: Trends and Prospects”, which will be held on October 30. Within the framework of this meeting, representatives of government agencies, large energy corporations and international organizations will discuss the prospects for the development of hydrogen energy in Kazakhstan. On the same day, a case session “Innovations in Cybersecurity and the Application of AI in Energy” will be held, which will affect the digital security challenges for energy infrastructure. The content of the business program of the first day will also include seminars from: DKC, TGS-Solar, Kazakhstan Valve and Insulator Plant, Kursk Electrical Equipment Plant, Chint kz.
On October 31, a Panel discussion is planned on the topic “Renewable Energy Sources (RES) as Part of the Energy System and a Source of Power Supply for Small and Medium Businesses”. At the end, a case session will be held on the topic “Domestic Value: Domestic Producers in the Energy Sector”, where the contribution of domestic producers to the country’s energy independence will be discussed. Bresler NPP, Chint kz, Aksa Power Generation, Izolyator Group, TE Connectivity, Center for Energy and Environmental Research (CEER) will hold seminars where they will present their modern solutions for the energy industry.
