Aktobe region will increase the volume of oil and gas production

According to the results of 2018, no less than 6.2 million tonnes of oil and 7 billion cubic meters of gas should be produced in the Aktobe region, the correspondent of the portal "Moy gorod" reports with reference to the press service of the Governor of the Aktobe region.

We constantly analyze the main market trends and the potential of the region. We know that there is every opportunity for further economic growth. Heads of all industrial enterprises, I ask you to ensure daily control over the prevention of reduction in output. This is especially concern oil industry workers. In general, this year should be produced industrial products worth at least 2 trillion tenge, - said head of Aktobe region Berdybek Saparbayev.

Let's note, in 2017 the industry of the region showed a 5% growth, having reached in monetary terms more than 1.5 trillion tenge. Nearly 6 million tonnes of oil and 6.6 billion cubic meters of gas were produced.

At the same time, the work on launching idle enterprises, supporting export-oriented business entities, and increasing Kazakhstan's content was called unsatisfactory. In particular, the share of local goods, works and services in purchases of subsoil users, national companies and backbone enterprises amounted to 49.1%.

- There is an increase in Kazakhstan content, but it is inadequate. Products produced in the Aktobe region, in other regions of Kazakhstan, should not be imported from abroad. So far I do not see good management work here. There is no effective implementation of partner programs for the development of small and medium-sized businesses around the backbone enterprises, - Berdybek Saparbayev noted.

Head of the profile management Yerlan Nazarov was instructed to strengthen work in these areas, as well as take on special control over the implementation of the President's instruction on modernization and digitization of enterprises, State Industrial Innovation Development Program projects, attraction of investments, and development of reserve fields.

Addressing to subsoil users, akim of the region recalled the need for additional geological exploration work, which is stipulated by their contractual obligations.

The head of the region also thanked the heads of enterprises that supported the initiative to raise the salaries of employees by at least 10-15% since the beginning of this year, the rest called for indexing wages until March 1 of this year.
