AIDA — ADVANCING KAZAKHSTAN’S NUCLEAR INDUSTRY

Atomic Industry Development Association (AIDA) is an independent industry association in Kazakhstan that supports the development of the country’s nuclear industry and brings together representatives of business, academia, the expert and professional communities, as well as international partners.

AIDA works to promote the sustainable and safe development of Kazakhstan’s nuclear industry, strengthen its technological potential, and facilitate the adoption of modern solutions. The Association’s key areas of activity include localization of production, development of the national supply chain, support for Kazakhstani businesses, workforce development, nuclear education, and international cooperation.

AIDA actively develops international and industry partnerships. The Association has concluded a number of cooperation memoranda with domestic and international organizations, including I2EN (International Institute of Nuclear Energy), Korea Nuclear Association (KNA), Nuclear Industry Association of Türkiye (NIATR), the Association of Organizations of the Nuclear Industry Construction Complex (ASKAO), and the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan “Atameken”. These partnerships focus on advancing nuclear education, sharing expertise, fostering industrial cooperation, promoting localization, and developing human resources.

  

AIDA places particular emphasis on human capital and youth development in the nuclear industry. The Association participates in initiatives that bring together representatives of government, business, international organizations, academia, and youth to discuss educational, career, and professional opportunities in the industry.

At Powerеxpo, AIDA will present its key areas of activity and opportunities for cooperation with companies in the energy and industrial sectors, including localization, supply chain development, international cooperation, workforce development, and educational initiatives.
