Energoservice Engineering Center to Showcase Equipment for Automated Control Systems at Energy Facilities
From October 21 to 23, we invite you to visit the booth of Energoservice Engineering Center at the Kazakhstan International Exhibition “Energy, Electrical Engineering and Energy Machine Building” – Powerexpo Almaty.
Our products are used for automating power grids and substations.
Accurate Measurement Solutions for Automated Control Systems
Data Collection and Transmission Systems
The multifunctional ENIP-2 measuring transducers perform remote measurements, control, signaling, and technical electricity metering. ENIP-2 devices are available in panel-mounted versions with a built-in display or in compact housings with the option to connect external ENMI display modules.
As part of Automated Information and Measurement Systems for Power Accounting (AIIS KUE), ESM devices function as electricity meters, power quality analyzers, and digital measuring transducers.
Telecontrol signal collection, command transmission, and analog signal conversion are handled by ENMV-1 and ESX231 input/output modules. These modules can send information directly to a data collection server or serve as expansion units for ENIP-2 and ESM measuring devices.
Data exchange is carried out via RS-485 and Ethernet digital interfaces, either directly with the dispatch center or through ENKS-3m or ENKM-3 data acquisition devices. ENKM-3, equipped with four interfaces, is used for telemechanization of distribution points, 6–20 kV transformer substations, and switching devices in distribution networks. ENKS-3m, offering a wider set of interfaces, is applied in power plant control systems and substation automation.
The ENKS-2 time correction unit serves as the time server in automated control systems. Using its antenna, ENKS-2 receives GLONASS/GPS data and synchronizes system devices.
ENKS-2: Ensuring Precise Timing in Automation Systems
In Kazakhstan, the following devices are certified as measuring instruments: ENIP-2 (KZ69VTS00004994), ESM (KZ26VTS00003537), ECIT (KZ75VTS00005274), ENKS-2 (KZ91VTS00005083).
For automation systems, we also produce temperature, humidity, and pressure sensors, as well as devices for localization and indication of various types of faults in medium-voltage distribution networks.
Devices Supporting Synchronized Vector Measurements
Energoservice Engineering Center manufactures all the key components for the Software and Hardware System for Transient Mode Monitoring (PTK SMPR), which tracks changes in the dynamic characteristics of power systems.
The company has also developed solutions using synchronized phasor measurement (SVI) technology for line fault localization, low-frequency oscillation analysis, and transformer condition monitoring.
The use of synchronized vector measurement technology is becoming increasingly popular in digital substation systems.
Solutions for Digital Substations
This year, we are introducing a new solution — the ES GEAR digital switchgear cell based on ECIT combined measuring transformers.
ECIT: A Series of Digital Combined Current and Voltage Transformers
The ES GEAR system consists of intelligent devices providing relay protection, automation, measurement, and control functions for 6–35 kV switchgear (KRU/KSO).
The devices in ES GEAR communicate via digital interfaces, primarily Ethernet 100Base-TX.
Digital connections built on IEC 61850 between devices within one cell and other switchgear cells significantly reduce terminal and wiring requirements, simplify installation, and speed up testing and commissioning of substations.
A key operational advantage is continuous self-diagnostics of PTK components, which improves reliability and reduces maintenance costs.
The ES GEAR system includes:
- ECIT – single-phase combined measuring transformers with digital interfaces for process bus connection and digital data transmission;
- ENBC – relay protection and automation device, feeder controller;
- ESM-SV – electricity meter and power quality analyzer;
- ENKS-2 – time correction unit for synchronizing ES GEAR devices;
- ENBC Touch – a unified information panel connected to ENBC and ESM-SV via RS-485, along with an optical arc protection sensor and a non-contact ITS2 temperature sensor.
We look forward to welcoming you at our booth No. 10-37!
