Power engineers will meet in Almaty to share experiences

Leading Kazakhstani and foreign experts in the field of Electrical and Heat Energy, Energy Saving and Lighting will get together once again from October 27 to 29 in Almaty.

Three international exhibitions “Energy, Electrical Equipment and Machine Building” - Power Kazakhstan; "Lighting, Lighting Equipment and LED Technologies” - Lighting Kazakhstan and “RES, Energy Saving, Energy Efficiency and Resource Saving” - ReEnergy Kazakhstan will present the latest equipment, technology and services for Kazakhstani professionals.

The annual industry exhibitions Power Kazakhstan, Lighting Kazakhstan and ReEnergy Kazakhstan are a traditionally strong professional platform and to establish a dialog between manufacturers and potential consumers of electrical and lighting products.

The exhibitions are attended by scientific, design, construction and operational organizations; Kazakhstani and foreign manufacturers of equipment, structures and materials; maintenance companies; technology developers and other companies engaged in the energy and lighting industries.

This year over 180 companies from 20 countries will participate in the combined expositions. National teams will be represented by Germany, Czech Republic, China and Iran. Kazakhstani and Russian companies traditionally take leading places in terms of number.

Power Kazakhstan is the most representative exhibition in Central Asia in the field of equipment and technologies for the electrical and heat energy industry.

For the first time, Power Kazakhstan will be attended by the Korean company Hyundai Heavy Industries, companies from Turkey - Ulusoy Elektrik Imalat Taahhut ve Ticaret A.S. and AKSA Jenerator, AXIS Electrical Components (I) Pvt. Ltd. from India and Iranian companies Saba Battery and Sime Tavan Boared Golestan.

Among participants are also such companies as JSC “Alageum Electric”, “Electric Light” LLP, General Electric, “Nwcomp Solar” LLP, “Phoenix Contact Kazakhstan” LLP, Riello UPS, JSC “Beloyarskiy Machtopropitochniy zavod”, JSC “Silovye Mashiny”, JSC “UMEK Group”, JSC “UIK”, and others.

The Novgorod Fund for Support of Small Businesses and the Coordination Center for Support of export-oriented small and medium-sized businesses in the Chuvash Republic will be represented by a number of Russian companies in their booths.

Power Kazakhstan exhibition will present the latest developments and technologies, and will undoubtedly contribute to a productive business dialog for Kazakhstani experts.

Lighting Kazakhstan exhibition will present technical, decorative and landscape lighting; lighting of industrial facilities in various industry sectors; light sources, design services and lighting design, as well as LED technologies, components and materials for the manufacture of lighting products.

Currently, the lighting market is actively transforming in Kazakhstan. There is virtually no competitive environment in manufacturing and supplying of lighting products, there are no domestic producers. Meanwhile, according to the expert review, the energy conservation potential in Kazakhstan is 30% of the total energy consumption. Energy-saving lighting products become the main topic for the Kazakhstani purchasers. The largest consumers include residential, administrative and public buildings, as well as industries.

There will be companies from Kazakhstan, Russia, Ukraine, Tajikistan, China, Czech Republic and Germany among the exhibitors of the Lighting Kazakhstan.

Lights 4 Europe GmbH & Co. KG from Germany specializes in industrial lighting systems based on modern LED technology, which have a definite positive effect on the environment and provide high level of profitability. Shopping and commercial floor spaces, industrial rooms and enterprises, open industrial zones are where the company’s equipment is applied mostly.

“Scientific and Production Innovative Company “Somon Energy” is the first enterprise in Tajikistan to manufacture compact fluorescent bulbs of Cleon brand, as well as LED technology (LED), works in the field of improving energy efficiency and environmental safety, i.e. introduction of modern innovative, energy-efficient, environmentally friendly technologies in lighting and the use of alternative energy sources. Every month the company manufactures about 130-150 million energy-saving lamps, known under the brand name “Somon”.

Hangzhou Liangliang Electronic Lighting Co., Ltd from China is the leader in the field of bulb manufacture and sale. The daily production capacity is 70,000 energy-saving bulbs and up to 150 million bulbs per annum. The company produces a variety of energy-saving bulbs, electronic ballast, night-light lamps, LED lamps, etc. The company is among 30 largest manufacturers of energy-saving bulb in China.

“Ukrainskaya svetotekhnicheskaya kompaniya” LLC offers a wide range of lighting fixtures: domestic, commercial, industrial, outdoor, landscape and architectural lighting. At this stage, the company has developed and started mass production of plastic Eclectic lineup fixtures with unique technical and economical characteristics. “Ukrainskaya svetotekhnicheskaya kompaniya” pays a great attention to expanding the range of products offered under the brand name Ecostrum.

Energy conservation and increase of energy efficiency in all industries of the economy are now a priority for the Government of Kazakhstan, which allows us to solve a set of energy, environmental and economic problems.

To solve these problems the specific legislation and the program “Energy 2020” have been introduced, which deal with a package of measures in many directions including energy efficient industry. The President has established a goal to reduce energy intensity of gross domestic product by at least 25% by 2020.

Every year the exhibition of ReEnergy Kazakhstan shows steady growth since energy conservation and efficiency are the main trends in the field of energy in the world today. More than 15 companies will present technologies and developments in the field of renewable energy and conservation of energy and resources as well.

During the exhibitions days, workshops and presentations of the participating companies will be held. An extensive business program will introduce the latest equipment and technologies for various industries.
